| animals by sponsoring them. A sponsorship helps the animals' chances of getting out of the shelter and into a Rescue or a new home. |
There are so many things that we always seem to need
at the shelter but what we need most are volunteers.
While we appreciate the donations we need more people to
donate some of their time to the shelter. It's a rewarding
experience. There is nothing like hearing the soft purr
of a kitten you comforted when she was frightened or the look
of gratitude in the eyes of a housebroken dog that you just took
outside to go potty. There is a bond between human and
animal that people who don't have pets can't possibly
understand and those are the ones you feel sorry for.

shelter. Needs change so much from month to month. We are
always grateful to our sponsors and friends for donating items to
the shelter. Here is our current list of items that we are hoping
for at the shelter. Some of the supplies go to our fosters or to
those that need extra help with their pets.
