Teddy is now
living in a home
with 3 boys that
absolutely adore
him.

He went from being
abandoned to almost
running out of time at
the shelter before fate
stepped in and he was
adopted.  Rocco is one
sweet, lucky boy!!
Phoebe was born in
foster care.  She has
recently been adopted
and is doing great in
her new home.  We get
updates on our
Facebook page.
Skylar was
recently adopted
and is now in a
good home.
Ellie Mae was my
foster and I am so
happy that she has
been adopted and is
in a good home.
Baby Doll went to
rescue and was
quickly adopted.
We were up to our
ears in cats and
kitttens and rescue
saved a lot of their
lives. We LOVE
our rescues!!
Jasmine came in with
heartworms.  Through
donations we were
able to get her treated
for her heartworms.
She has recently been
adopted.  Jasmine
was a shelter favorite
and we are so happy
she got a second
chance!!
After being found
starving in an old
stripmine building
Rose hit paydirt!
A wonderful lady
had been looking
to adopt a pit
puppy and as luck
would have it Rose came in
that same week!  Rose (now Gypsy) is in a
wonderful home and is healing nicely from
her horrible ordeal.  Her new owners are
very pleased with her progress and said that
Gypsy is a perfect fit with the family.  They
keep us updated and brought her into the
shelter last week to get microchipped.  Now
Rose can find her way home!
This is from the adopter of a dog named
Darnell that we adopted out a couple of
years back.  She is very happy with him
and Darnell has written us a letter to let us
know how he is doing in his new home.  I
received this last October and wanted to
share it with all of you.

"I've been in my new home with Katie for
almost two years now.

My name is now Lucky (aka Darnell)
because I was on the urgent list and boy,
did I get lucky.  I live and play with three
cats (all males and one is three-legged),
and Abby, my mentor, who is twelve.  I live
on five acres and occasionally get to run in
the back field.

Just wanted to let you know I am doing
great.  Katie tells me I am very intelligent -
have learned many words (can you say
Milk Bone?) and manners.  Thank you for a
roof over my head, food in my tummy, and
finding me a home.

Lucky Dog"
